Candles and leftover wax cannot be recycled through your kerbside recycling bin. The recycling system is designed to process packaging materials like bottles, jars, and cardboard, not mixed materials like wax and wicks.

If your candle is in a glass or metal container, check if the container can be emptied and cleaned — in that case, the container may be recyclable. Please place any remaining wax and the wick in your general waste bin.
