Thank you for your recycling enquiry. This is understandably a source of confusion - across Australia the guidelines for how to recycle or safely dispose of different types of glass vary widely!
In your local government area pane glass is not accepted in the kerbside recycling bin.
Many glass products contain additives that are not recyclable when mixed with food and beverage bottles and jars. These items contaminate the glass recycling process and can result in waste if glass loads are rejected.
Please (carefully!) wrap your pane glass in scrap newspaper or an old sheet, safely break it and place it in your general waste bin.
