Lip balm containers are not recyclable in your home recycling bin. These items are too small to be processed through the kerbside system and can slip through the sorting equipment.
Unfortunately, we don’t currently have any away-from-home recycling options for lip balm containers in your local area. Please dispose of them in your general waste bin. However, trials are underway to explore new recycling opportunities for cosmetic product packaging, so we hope such programs will become available in the future.
