Detachable mop heads are not recyclable in the home kerbside recycling bin. The kerbside system is designed to process everyday packaging waste like disposable bottles, jars, and containers, so other plastic household items cannot be accepted.

If your mop head is in near-new condition and suitable for resale, you can use Recycle Mate to find a charity shop or other nearby locations accepting donations.

If the mop head is not in good condition, it will need to be placed in your general waste bin.
