Plastic Iced Coffee Cup

Plastic iced coffee cups can usually be recycled in your kerbside recycling bin if they are made from clear, rigid plastic and are thoroughly rinsed. However, lids and straws should be removed and placed in your general waste bin unless they are accepted under your local recycling guidelines.

Please check for any recycling symbols or numbers on the cup — if it's made from plastic types 1 or 2, it’s generally accepted in most kerbside recycling systems. If the cup is soft or squishy plastic, or lined with another material (like foil or wax), it may not be recyclable and should go in your general waste bin.
