Thank you for your recycling question. Disposal of plywood and other types of chemically-treated timber can be very confusing!

Plywood offcuts are not accepted in any of your kerbside bins. Some materials from building and renovation works can be reused, donated or sold. Look out for local opportunities before disposing at your local landfill.

Our team has completed a check on your behalf, plywood can be accepted at the following facilities (fees & charges may apply):

• Russell Island Waste & Recycling Centre
• Stotts Creek Resource Recovery Centre
