Phone cases are not recyclable in your home recycling bin. The kerbside recycling system is designed to handle your everyday packaging waste like disposable bottles and jars, so other plastic household items are unable to be processed.
The Mobile Muster program will accept this type of case for recycling. To find your nearest collection location, use the search function in Recycle Mate and type in “mobile phone case”. If there are no locations nearby, you’ll need to dispose of the phone case in your general waste bin.
