Styrofoam food trays are unfortunately not accepted in most kerbside recycling bins. The material, also known as expanded polystyrene (EPS), is lightweight and bulky, which makes it difficult to process and recycle through regular systems.
If possible, try to reuse the tray for storage or crafts. Otherwise, it should be disposed of in your general waste bin.
