Thera-Bands and other rubber resistance bands used for exercise or physiotherapy are not recyclable in the home kerbside recycling bin. The kerbside system is designed to handle everyday packaging waste such as disposable bottles, jars, and containers, so other plastic household items cannot be processed.
If your Thera-Band is in good condition and suitable for resale, you can use Recycle Mate to find a charity shop or other nearby locations accepting donations.
If the Thera-Band is damaged or not in good condition, it will need to be placed in your general waste bin.
