Thera-Bands and other rubber resistance bands used for exercise or physiotherapy are not recyclable in the home kerbside recycling bin. The kerbside recycling system is designed to handle your everyday packaging waste like disposable bottles, jars and containers, so other plastic household items are unable to be processed.
If your Thera-Band is in good condition that’s suitable for resale use Recycle Mate to find a charity shop or other location nearby accepting donations.
If the Thera-Band is damaged and not in good condition it will need to be placed in your general waste bin.
