They contain potentially hazardous and valuable materials that don’t belong in landfill and cannot be recovered through most kerbside recycling systems.

To ensure the valuable metals inside are safely recovered, please use Recycle Mate to find your closest drop-off point accepting electronic waste. There are thousands of locations across Australia collecting portable chargers and other e-waste items.

Try searching for “charger” to find drop-off locations in your local area. Meanwhile, our team will add “tile tag” to the Recycle Mate database to help others in the future.
