Kitchen tongs are typically made from a combination of metal and plastic or silicone. Unfortunately, these mixed materials are not accepted in kerbside recycling bins because they cannot be easily separated for processing.

If your tongs are still in good condition, consider donating or selling them for reuse. If they are broken or no longer usable, they should be disposed of in your general waste bin.
