Wooden tea boxes and other wooden homeware items cannot be disposed of in your kerbside recycling bin. The kerbside system is designed to handle everyday packaging waste like bottles, jars, and containers, so other household items cannot be processed.
If your wooden tea box is in good condition and suitable for resale, please use Recycle Mate to find a charity shop or other location nearby accepting donations.
If your wooden tea box is not in good condition, it will need to be placed in your general waste bin.
