Opal card

If your opal card is still in good condition or has any funds on it, you could try keeping it for future use, donating it to a charity, to someone you know or to someone in need.

If these options are unsuitable or your opal card is not in a condition fit for re-use, then you would need to dispose of it in your household general waste bin.

Your Opal Card is not recyclable in your home recycling bin as the size and material type of opal cards currently make them non-recyclable. This also applies to gift cards, credit cards or other similar small plastic cards.
